THE HONOR PENDANT
WHY A paPER AIRPLANE?
Jenna here! Founder of The Honor Pendant. In 2013 just after graduating high school I lost one of my closest friends, Caleb, to suicide. The sudden tragic loss rocked my world and knocked the wind from my sails to say the least. As part of my grieving process I got a simple paper airplane tattooed on my left wrist to remind me of his love for airplanes (he’d always dreamt of becoming a pilot) and to remember my friend.
When I started designing the Honor Pendant in early 2024 it made perfect sense to choose the paper airplane once again as a symbol of hope and encouragement for others experiencing grief or navigating loss.
